A new British study revealed the potential risk of blood pressure pills, covered by the millions in the world, on the health of many people, according to British newspaper the Telegraph, Saturday.
A recent study, results showed nearly two million Britons, that blood pressure drugs ACE Inhibitors may increase the risk of lung cancer by approximately one third among chronic disease patients.
The study examined the consequences of medication on an enzyme that controls blood pressure for at least 10 years, results showed that 31 percent of those are likely to develop lung cancer.

The study also indicated that the risk over time, with those who were taking the drug for five years, with 22 percent.

The researchers warned that although the relative risk was small, the enormous numbers dealing with medication make the results credible.
He said the lead author of the study, Laurent Azoulay, specialist in cancer epidemiology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada that "Although the size of the relationship between medicine and cancer-causing modest, this medicine is one of the categories of medicines that are widely described as".
